Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology (KNIT), Sultanpur – Scholarships

Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology provides various scholarships to its students based on different criteria set by the college and government reservation policies. Students can register on the college's official website and sit for the examination to avail themselves of these scholarships. They can also explore government-aided scholarships through the state/central government’s scholarship portal. 

Available Scholarships:

• Merit Scholarship by the Uttar Pradesh Government (INR 3,000)
• General Scholarship (INR 550 per month for day scholars and INR 1,200 for hostellers)
• SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minorities Scholarship (INR 550 per month for day scholars and INR 1,200 for hostellers)

Financial aid for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS):

• A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Scholarship for students of all branches who have secured at least 70% marks or equivalent in the previous final examination.

Other scholarships by Trusts/Agencies:

Scholarships offered by the Social Welfare department to students from all categories. SC/ST students with parental income less than INR 2,00,000 may be eligible for reduced fees:

• Tech (First Year): INR 5,000 (includes institute caution money, hostel fee, and hostel caution money)
• Tech (per year), MCA (First Year): INR 16,000 (includes institute caution money, hostel fee, and hostel caution money)

Eligible students can also apply for scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). The institute's scholarship committee awards the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Scholarship based on merit, and interested candidates can apply through the institute's online portal.
