KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research (KAHER) Application/Admission Process

The KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research (KAHER) admission and application process follows two primary pathways depending on the stream:

  1. National Entrance Exams & Centralized Counselling: For Medical (MBBS, MD/MS), Dental (BDS, MDS), and Ayurveda (BAMS) programs.

  2. University Entrance (KAHER-AIET) or Direct Application: For Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Allied Health Sciences, and Management courses.

Step-by-Step Admission Process

Step 1: Check Eligibility & Entrance Requirements

  • Medical / Dental / AYUSH: Qualify for NEET-UG or NEET-PG.

  • Pharmacy / Allied Health: Pass 10+2 / UG with minimum specified marks and qualify via KAHER-AIET or university merit.

Step 2: Account Registration

  • Visit the official portal (kaher.edu.in or kledeemeduniversity.edu.in).

  • Click on "Admissions" / "Online Application" and register using a valid email ID and active mobile number.

  • System credentials (Application ID/Password) will be generated and sent via SMS/Email.

Step 3: Filling the Application Form

  • Log in and fill in personal, academic, and communication details.

  • Select the target program and constituent college.

  • Upload scanned copies of required documents (Passport-size photo, signature, qualifying mark sheets) in prescribed formats.

Step 4: Application Fee Payment

  • Pay the non-refundable registration/application fee via online payment gateways (Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking).

Step 5: Entrance Exam / Counselling Registration

  • For NEET-based seats (MBBS/BDS/MD/MS): Register for MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) Deemed University counselling and select KAHER constituent colleges (e.g., Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College).

  • For KAHER Entrance / Merit-based seats: Download the Test Admission Ticket (TAT / Admit Card) from the portal and appear for the KAHER-AIET entrance exam if applicable.

Step 6: Merit List & Seat Allotment

  • University or MCC publishes merit ranks and seat allotment lists based on test scores and candidate choices.

Step 7: Document Verification & Final Admission

  • Allotted candidates report to the KAHER campus in Belagavi for physical verification of original documents.

  • Complete tuition fee payment and secure admission.
