The admission process at Rani Parvati Devi (RPD) College of Arts and Commerce, Belagavi, is systematic and managed in accordance with the regulations of Rani Channamma University (RCU), Belagavi.

Admission Process Overview

Application: Students seeking admission to B.A., B.Com., or BBA programs must obtain and fill out the prescribed application form available at the college office. It is highly recommended that students carefully read the college prospectus before beginning the application process.
Submission: The completed application form, along with the necessary documentation, must be submitted to the college administration office within the specified deadlines.
Provisional Admission: All admissions granted by the college are initially provisional and subject to final confirmation by Rani Channamma University. If a candidate is later found to be ineligible based on university criteria, the admission will be cancelled.
Transfer and Migration: * Students migrating from another college affiliated with RCU must produce a Transfer Certificate.
- Students migrating from outside universities or states must provide a Provisional Eligibility Certificate at the time of admission and a formal Migration Certificate subsequently.
Special Categories: Candidates who are gainfully employed must submit a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer. Please note that no concessions in attendance are granted to employed students.

Eligibility Requirements

For B.A./B.Com. (I Semester): Candidates must have passed the 10+2 (PUC II year) examination from the Karnataka P.U. Education Board or an equivalent examination recognized by Rani Channamma University.
For Higher Semesters: Admission to subsequent semesters is contingent upon having completed the required terms for the previous semesters at the university or having passed an equivalent examination.

Mandatory Documentation

At the time of admission, students must provide both original documents and multiple attested photocopies of the following:

Academic Records: Statement of marks from the qualifying 10+2 (or lower) examination.
Identity: Aadhar card of both the student and parents.
Photographs: Passport-sized and stamp-sized photographs (with name, class, and address written on the reverse).
Caste/Income: SC/ST/OBC students seeking fee exemptions must produce a valid caste certificate and an income declaration issued by the local Tehsildar.
Others: Migration, Eligibility, or Physically Handicapped certificates, where applicable.
