Kanchi Mamunivar Government Institute for Postgraduate Studies and Research (KMGIPSR), formerly known as the Kanchi Mamunivar Centre for Postgraduate Studies (KMCPGS), is a premier government institution in Puducherry. Because it is a government-run facility, the fee structure is already heavily subsidized; however, the institute further ensures that financial constraints do not hinder research and higher education through a comprehensive array of scholarships.

1. Union Territory (Puducherry) Government Scholarships

The Directorate of Higher and Technical Education (DHTE), Puducherry, provides dedicated support for local residents pursuing postgraduate studies.

• Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Financial Assistance (PKFA):

  • Target: Students from the UT of Puducherry pursuing professional and regular PG courses.

2. National Scholarship Portal (NSP) Schemes
