M.A.M College of Engineering Scholarships & Eligibility

M.A.M. College of Engineering (MAMCE) and its sister institution, M.A.M. College of Engineering and Technology (MAMCET) in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, provide several financial aid options. These options include institutional support funded through their internal trusts as well as central and state government welfare schemes.

The scholarship opportunities available for the current academic session are organized by category:

1. Institutional & Trust Scholarships

Nizams Trust Scholarships: Sponsored by the college management, these awards specifically target meritorious students and rural youths who show strong academic potential but require financial backing.
Sports & Special Waivers: Fee concessions are open to students who have competed in sports at the district, state, or national levels. Partial waivers are also extended to differently-abled or economically disadvantaged students.

2. Tamil Nadu State Government Schemes

These programs are processed directly through the college administration office and require specific community and income verification documents:

SC / ST / SCC Post-Matric Scholarship:
- Eligibility: Open to both Government Quota and Management Quota students. The annual family income must be less than Rs.2,50,000 (or below Rs.2,00,000 for SC Christian students).
- Benefit: Provides up to Rs.50,000 per year toward tuition and educational costs.
BC / MBC / DNC Welfare Scholarship:
- Eligibility: Available only to students admitted under the Government Quota (via TNEA counseling). The annual family income must be below Rs.2,00,000.
- Benefit: Financial assistance ranging from Rs.3,000 to Rs.8,500 annually.
Pudhumai Penn & Tamil Puthalvan Schemes:

- Benefit: A monthly stipend of Rs.1,000 distributed directly during the course of their higher education degree.

3. Central Government & National Portals

Students can apply for these online via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), after which the college verifies the hard copies:

AICTE Pragati Scholarship: Specifically for girl students enrolled in AICTE-approved technical programs based on academic merit.
Minority Scholarships (MOMA): Available for Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Parsi, and Buddhist students with family incomes under Rs.2,50,000 and at least 50% marks in their previous qualifying exams.
Central Sector Scholarship Scheme (CSSS): Awarded to high-scoring board students whose family income falls within the established EWS boundaries.
