Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT) is a state university located in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Established in 2013 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, it evolved from the Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College, which was founded in 1962. The university is situated approximately 9 kilometers from Gorakhpur Railway Station on the Gorakhpur-Deoria road, encompassing a sprawling 354-acre campus adorned with lush greenery.

In 2022, MMMUT achieved an 'A' grade accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), becoming the first state university in Uttar Pradesh to receive this distinction. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked the university 84th in the engineering category in 2024.
