Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology has a training and placement cell that manages on-campus placement drives, and the cell is responsible for contacting companies, inviting them for placements and internships, coordinating with university departments, and ensuring communication between parties involved in the placement activities. 

MMMUT assists students in obtaining job offers from well-known companies by organizing placement drives every year. The placement cell also trains students through activities like group discussions, mock interviews, guest lectures, and seminars. Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology Gorakhpur's placement data from the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2024 indicates that for 3-year UG programs, the median salary offered was ?5.55 Lakhs, and for 4-year UG programs, it was ?11.55 Lakhs. For PG programs, the median salary package was ?7.56 Lakhs.
