The Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya (MSSV) provides numerous financial aid programs and scholarships to worthy and distinguished students. Scholarships are awarded in accordance with academic achievement, financial need, and other factors.

Following are a few of the scholarships MSSV provides:

• Merit Scholarships: The university awards merit scholarships to its top performers each semester.

• Post-Matric Scholarship: The university offers financial aid to students from the economically underprivileged sector (EWS) under the Post-Matric Scholarship program of the Indian government.

• State Scholarship: The university also helps students with their applications for state-level awards including the Chief Minister's Scholarship and the Assam Combined Merit Scholarship.

• Endowment Scholarship: The university also awards eligible students endowment scholarships in several categories.
