Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering offers a robust placement program for its students. Over 167 companies visit the campus annually, offering more than 500 job opportunities to students. MITE provides placement training starting from the third semester. This includes aptitude tests, group discussions, and interview preparation to enhance students' employability skills.

Placement rates are generally higher for students in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department compared to other branches like Mechanical Engineering.
