Admissions are divided into two main categories: Convener Quota ('A' Category) and Management Quota ('B' Category).

1. Entrance Requirements

  • For B.Tech: Candidates must have passed the Intermediate (10+2) level examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. A valid rank in AP EAPCET (formerly EAMCET) is the primary requirement for admission.

  • For MBA/PG: A valid score in entrance exams like APICET, CAT, XAT, MAT, or CMAT is typically required.

2. How to Apply

  • Online Registration: Prospective students must register and fill out the application form on the official MTIET website.

  • Counselling (For 'A' Category): Most 'A' Category seats are filled through the centralized counseling process conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) based on AP EAPCET ranks. You must register for this counseling on the official APSCHE portal.

  • Direct/Management Quota ('B' Category): For seats under the management quota, you should contact the college administration directly. You will still need to fill out the college's internal application form and meet the minimum academic eligibility criteria.

'A' Category-  AP EAPCET Rank Card, Hall Ticket, Allotment Order, 10th & Intermediate certificates, Passport size photos (4).

'B' Category- Original 10th & Intermediate certificates, Transfer Certificate (TC), Study/Conduct Certificate, Migration Certificate (if from another university), Nativity/Income/Caste Certificates (if applicable), Passport size photos (4).
