National Institute of Bank Management Application/Admission Process

 

The Pune-based National Institute of Bank Management accepts applications online. Only those applicants are admitted who satisfy the eligibility standards provided by the Academy. The following admissions processes must be completed by applicants before they will be considered for admission to the academy:

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply for the PGDM program at NIBM, candidates must meet the following baseline requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the UGC or Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (relaxed to 45% for SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS, and PwD reserved categories).

  • Final Year Students: Candidates in the final year of their bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply, provided they submit proof of meeting the minimum academic criteria by the stipulated deadline

Accepted Entrance Exams

NIBM does not conduct its own separate management test. Instead, it shortlists candidates based on valid national-level management entrance test scores:

  • CAT (Common Admission Test)

  • XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test)

  • CMAT (Common Management Admission Test)

  •  GMAT/ GRE (for international or eligible candidates)

Steps of application process

  • Visit the official website- https://www.nibmindia.org/
  • Click the Application Form option.
  • Fill out the application form by entering all the necessary information in the appropriate fields.
  • After filling out, upload scanned copies of the documents, including the signature and photo.
  • Pay the application fee after the form has been completed.
  • Finally, press the "Submit" button.
