PRIST is accredited by NAAC with “B” grade. It has also been certified by ISO TUV. In terms of overall ranking, PRIST University is ranked 8th out of 101 colleges by the Times of India. It has ranked 5th under All-India Ranking, and has secured 11th rank under Tamil Nadu State Engineering Ranking.
