PSG College of Technology Faculty Details

The faculty pool at PSG College of Technology is a core driver of its academic rigor, blending decades of institutional heritage with high-caliber technical expertise and industrial research.

Qualifications & Core Expertise

  • Advanced Academic Credentials: A vast majority of the faculty members hold doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees from premier institutions like the IITs, IISc, Anna University, and renowned international universities.

  • Industry Integration: Many professors maintain active liaison with manufacturing, software, and core engineering sectors. This cross-pollination ensures that classroom theories are constantly updated with real-world applications and current industry workflows.

Pedagogical Approach

  • Student-Centric Mentorship: Faculty members act as mentors for technical clubs, project teams, and entrepreneurial incubation cells, guiding students through national hackathons, SAE BAJA/Formula student racing events, and global design competitions.

  • Continuous Development: Through regular interactions under faculty development programmes, participation in national missions (like the Naan Mudhalvan initiative), and industry-sponsored training, the teaching community stays at the cutting edge of technological evolution.
