Punjab Agricultural University Application/Admission Process

PAU Admission 2026 has not yet commenced, with official notifications and counselling dates pending. Admissions will be based on state-level and university-level entrance exams, followed by centralized counselling by PAU, tailored to each course. Appear in the relevant entrance exam:

Register and appear in PAU CET / MET / GATE / ICAR-AIEEA-PG / JEE Main as per your course.

Apply online:

Visit the PAU admission portal (pau-apms.in or pau.edu → Admissions).

Register, fill the form, upload documents (10th, 12th / graduation mark sheets, entrance-score card, category certificates), and pay the application fee (around Rs 5,640 for many entrance-based programmes).

Counselling and seat allotment:

PAU conducts online / offline counselling in July–August 2026; seats are allotted based on rank, category, and preferences.

Reporting and fee payment:

Report to the allotted campus/college, submit original documents, and pay tuition and other fees to confirm admission.

  • 10th and 12th / Intermediate / graduation mark sheets and certificates.
  • Entrance-exam scorecard (PAU CET / MET / GATE / ICAR-AIEEA-PG / JEE Main).

Eligibility Criteria:

UG (B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Tech Agri Engg, Food Tech, Horticulture): Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics from a recognized board.

PG (M.Sc., M.Tech, MBA Agri-Business): Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline with minimum qualifying marks.

Ph.D.:  Master’s degree in the relevant subject with minimum qualifying marks.
