QIS College of Engineering & Technology (QISCET), Prakasam – Application/Admission Process

1. Undergraduate Programs (B. Tech):

Entrance Examination: Admission to B. Tech programs is primarily based on the AP EAPCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) score. Candidates must qualify this examination to be eligible for admission.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates should have completed their 10+2 education with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
• Subjects must include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Application Procedure:

• Candidates can apply online through the official AP EAPCET website or directly via the college's admission portal.
• The application typically includes filling out personal details, educational qualifications, and entrance exam scores.

Counseling: After the results are announced, candidates will participate in a counseling process where they can choose their preferred courses based on their ranks.

2. Postgraduate Programs (M. Tech):

Entrance Examination: For M. Tech admissions, candidates must qualify in either the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) or AP PGECET (Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test).

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should hold a relevant undergraduate degree with at least 50% aggregate marks.

Application Procedure:

• Applications can be submitted online through the college's website or during designated admission periods.
• Necessary documents include academic transcripts, entrance exam scores, and identification proof.

Counseling and Seat Allotment: Similar to B. Tech admissions, a counseling session will follow the announcement of entrance exam results.

3. MBA/MCA Programs:

• Entrance Examination: Admissions to MBA and MCA programs require candidates to appear for the AP ICET (Integrated Common Entrance Test).

Eligibility Criteria:

• For MBA: A bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• For MCA: A bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
