The R.C. Patel Institute of Technology, located in Shirpur, Maharashtra, was established in 2001. The institute has expanded very quickly and gained national recognition as a reputable institution. The Chancellor of NMIMS University and the President of SVKM and SES Trust formed it. RCPIT Shirpur is affiliated with Dr. Babasahed Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere, AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), New Delhi has also approved RCPIT. RCPIT is working to give students access to engineering and PhD education. A Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and a Ph.D. in a variety of subjects are available from RCPIT. RCPIT also provides an MCA course for PG courses.

R.C Patel Institute of Technology (RCPIT) in Maharashtra offers a range of infrastructure facilities to support its academic and extracurricular activities. Here are some key highlights of the institute's infrastructure: 

Library- The main library of the institute has 150 student seats spread across a ground floor area of roughly 612 square meters. The library's interior is elegantly furnished with well-planned seating arrangements. The 170 square meter reading zone, 325 square meters of stacking space, and 117 square meters of issuing area make up the three main sections of the library. The library contains a substantial collection of 36709 volumes as well as 72 national journals and magazines that are relevant to the courses that the Institute offers.

Virtual Classrooms and Labs- To support the teaching-learning process and set up the E-learning infrastructure, RCPIT is partnered with Amrita University. This effort allows the institute to facilitate two-way contact between RCPIT and Experts/Alumni. 

Auditorium and Seminar Hall- A great venue for seminars, guest lectures, technical paper/project presentations, and the screening of educational films is a completely air-conditioned theatre that can accommodate over 300 people. The very effective audio system, LCD projector, and cosy seating configuration all support the auditorium.

Hostel- There are four hostels with a capacity of 200 girls and two hostels with a capacity of 200 boys. The hostels are situated within the Institute campus. Internet access via the fibre optic network will be available to the hostels soon. The huge dining room of the hostel mess serves good and wholesome food at affordable prices. 

Gym-  The institute has both indoor and open gym facilities, providing a full range of workout experiences. Students can work out outside in the open gym while taking in the scenery and the fresh air. Regardless of the weather, fitness enthusiasts can make use of the state-of-the-art equipment and controlled environment provided by the indoor gym.
