RV University is expanding its presence with a new campus in Mysuru (Nanjangud), offering interdisciplinary programs across Engineering, Management, Psychology, and Applied Sciences. While the university operates on a robust merit-based scholarship framework across all campuses, the specific allocations and criteria for the 2026-27 academic year are detailed below.

Scholarships at RV University (RVU) are generally awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and are primarily focused on the first-year tuition fee.

Merit-Based Scholarships (General)

The university sets aside a significant pool of funds for high achievers in board exams and entrance tests.

Scholarships for wards of Defence personnel (Serving or Retired) –

First 25 UG students will be awarded Rs. 25,000/- each (First year) for enrolling in AY 2026-27. A Sum of Rs. 6,25,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs Twenty Thousand only) shall be utilised to provide scholarship for the AY 2026-27.

Sports Scholarships –

National Level representation –

Cricket, Hockey, Football, Swimming, Basketball, Badminton, Table tennis = 100% fee waiver for the first year.

State Level representation –

Cricket, Hockey, Football, Swimming, Basketball, Badminton, Table tennis = 50% fee waiver for the first year.

Scholarships for International Students–

NRI/OCI/Other Nationalities (Excluding SAARC nations & Africa) –SAARC Nations = 50% Fee waiver for entire course. [Limited to 10 seats for B.Tech (H)].
