School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) campuses generally offer decent to good placements, especially at the PG level and in planning, with more modest and less campus-driven outcomes in B.Arch at some campuses. Packages typically range around 5–8 LPA on average, with top offers going into the mid-teens or higher at some campuses.
The placement cell of SPA, New Delhi, is actively involved in helping everyone who chooses to pursue it get placed. The e-brochures of each department, which are posted on the school website, list the qualities and abilities of students enrolled in PG and UG programs.
The school gives students a methodical introduction to the solid foundations of a variety of courses, allowing them to align themselves with the constantly evolving demands of the workplace.
The Placement Office (the faculty in charge) or the Placement Cell (a group of student representatives from each department led by their respective faculty mentors) will send invitations to potential recruiting companies or organizations. Prospective recruiters will receive these invitations along with all other Placement Drive information. Recruiters who are interested must complete a Job Notification Form (JNF) with all the necessary information regarding the placement.
A median compensation of INR 5.23 LPA was awarded to seven B.Plan students who were placed by the School of Planning and Architecture. A median compensation of INR 7.50 LPA was awarded to 47 students from BArch. According to the NIRF report from 2025, 185 postgraduate students were placed overall. For PG 2-year placements at the School of Planning and Architecture in 2024, the median package was INR 8 LPA. The median package for BPlan has grown from INR 5 LPA to INR 5.23 LPA in comparison to the previous year. In contrast, the median package for BArch has risen by 25%, from INR 6 LPA to INR 7.50 LPA. The PG 2-year median package showed a gain of 18.5%.
