Shantha Group of Institutions Application/Admission Process

The application and admission process for the Shantha Group of Institutions (SGI) for the 2026–27 academic session is designed to be streamlined, with options for both online and offline registration.

As the academic cycle typically begins in July or August, the admission portal usually opens in early spring.

How to Apply?

You can choose from three main methods to start your application: 

Online Registration: Visit the official SGI Admissions page and fill out the inquiry/registration form.

Downloadable Form: You can download the PDF application form from the website, fill it out manually, and send it to the admission office with the required documents.

Direct Campus Visit: Visit the admission office at Peresandra Cross, Chikkaballapura, to collect the form in person and receive one-on-one counseling.

 

The Admission Steps

The process generally follows this sequence:

  1. Inquiry & Counseling: You can contact an admission coordinator (National or International) to discuss course suitability.
  2. Application Submission: Submit the filled form along with a registration fee (typically around Rs. 500 for certain programs like Physiotherapy).
  3. Entrance/Merit Review: 
  • For Nursing (B.Sc): Admission is based on 10+2 marks (PCB) and potentially a state-level entrance exam.
  • For Pharmacy/Physiotherapy: The college may conduct its own entrance test or consider merit from your qualifying exams.
  1. Interview/Counseling: Shortlisted candidates are invited for a personal interview or a counseling session to verify intent and documents.
  2. Final Selection & Fee Payment: Upon selection, you will receive an admission letter. You must pay the initial admission fee to secure your seat.

B.Sc Nursing

10+2 with 45% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

B.Pharm / D.Pharm

10+2 with 50% aggregate in PCMB/PCB/PCM.

Physiotherapy (BPT)

10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Allied Health Sciences

10+2 with relevant science subjects.

 Documents Required

Be prepared to upload or submit the following:

  • 10th and 12th standard mark sheets.
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) and Migration Certificate (for out-of-state students).
  • Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate or SSLC card).
  • Aadhaar Card or Government ID.
  • Recent passport-size photographs.
  • NEET/State Entrance scorecard (if applicable for your specific course).
