Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences (SRMS IMS), Bareilly – Application/Admission Process

1. MBBS Program:

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.
• A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology is required.
• Candidates must be at least 17 years old at the time of admission.

Entrance Exam: Admission is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) score. Candidates must qualify for NEET-UG to be eligible for admission.

Application Process:

• Register for NEET-UG through the official NEET website and appear for the examination.
• After qualifying NEET-UG, candidates must participate in the UP NEET counseling process conducted by the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh.

Counseling and Seat Allotment:

• During the counseling process, candidates need to select SRMS IMS as their preferred college.
• Based on NEET-UG rank and availability of seats, candidates will be allotted seats in the MBBS program.
• Once a seat is allotted, candidates must complete the admission formalities, including document verification and payment of fees, at the institute.

2. MD/MS Programs:

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have an MBBS degree from a recognized medical college.
• Candidates must have completed a one-year compulsory rotating internship.
• Candidates must be registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or a State Medical Council.

Entrance Exam: Admission is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG) score. Candidates must qualify for NEET-PG to be eligible for admission.
