• Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar got upgraded to Silicon University with effect from 31 January 2024.

• SiliconTech is the recipient of the Odisha State Energy Conservation Award 2022 from the Odisha government's Department of Energy for its commendable efforts in energy conservation under the "Educational Institutes" category.

• Ranked by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, within Band 151-300 in the "Private Colleges" category of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2023 for "Innovation." SiliconTech is among the four institutions and colleges in Odisha, both private and government-run, to have been granted this accolade.

• Ranked 161 (engineering) by the Indian government's Ministry of Education (MoE) in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), 2022. SiliconTech is one of the seven Odisha-based institutes ranked in the top 200.

• The C V Raman Foundation awarded SiliconTech with the C V Raman Award for Academic Excellence in 2021.
