SVERI, College of Engineering Application/Admission Process

SVERI’s College of Engineering (CoE), Pandharpur, conducts its admissions primarily through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) governed by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell.

Admission Overview

Admissions are merit-based, determined by valid scores in national or state-level entrance examinations. The process generally follows these steps:

  1. Entrance Exam: You must appear for the relevant entrance test (e.g., MHT-CET or JEE Main for B.Tech).
  2. CAP Registration: After exam results are declared, you must register on the official Maharashtra State CET Cell portal for CAP counseling.
  3. Choice Filling: During counseling, you select SVERI's College of Engineering (using its unique Choice Code) as your preference.
  4. Seat Allotment: Seats are allocated based on your merit rank, category, and seat availability.
  5. Reporting: Once allotted, you must report to the institute to confirm your admission by submitting documents and paying the fees.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Tech- 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry/Bio/CS/IT (min 45% aggregate for General)
  • Tech- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (min 50% aggregate)
  • MBA- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (min 50% aggregate)
  • MCA- Graduation (any field) with 50% aggregate; Maths at 10+2 or graduation level preferred.

Required Documents for Admission

At the time of final admission reporting, you will typically need the following (original and sets of photocopies):

  • Entrance Exam Score Card (MHT-CET/JEE/GATE/CAT/CMAT/etc.)
  • Mark Sheets: 10th (SSC), 12th (HSC), and Graduation (for PG courses).
  • School/College Leaving Certificate (TC).
  • Nationality & Domicile Certificate.
  • Category Documents: Caste Certificate, Caste Validity, and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (if applicable).
  • Income Certificate (for EBC/Scholarship/TFWS claims).
  • Migration/Gap Certificate (if applicable).
