Walchand Institute of Technology – Application /Admission Process

Candidates who are interested in admission can apply by doing the following:

• All prospective candidates must register online for the following categories:
• Every category CAP seats
• Seats with an institutional quote
• Available seats following the conclusion of the CAP rounds
• Following an online application on the DTE website, an applicant must print the completed application form, bring all necessary original documentation, and physically visit any convenient Facilitation Center to complete the remaining document verification steps:
• The person in charge of the facilitation center will collect the properly signed application and confirm the information from the original copies of the necessary papers.
• Additionally, using the online system, the Facilitation Center In-charge will verify the candidate's application and provide the Receipt cum Acknowledgment of Application Form.
• The DTE website will display the eligible candidates' Provisional Merit List.

• The competent authority will show the available Category-wise Seats (Seat Matrix) for the CAP Round-I following the release of the final Merit List.

• Prior to the CAP Round, the candidate must complete the Online Option Form with their preferred courses and institutions. In decreasing order of preference, candidates may select a minimum of one institute and a maximum of three hundred courses. After the candidate confirms the Option Form via their login, it will be taken into consideration for allocation in CAP Rounds I, II, and III.

• The alternatives' serial numbers will determine the order in which they are preferred.

• Reporting and admission confirmation: Following the final CAP Round, the candidate must report to the institution that has been assigned to him and verify that he or she has been admitted.
