  A person, who has obtained a Master’s Degree in any discipline from any university or institution recognized by UGC or such other degree with at least 60% marks throughout his/her academic career, is eligible to apply for admission to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programme. A person, who has obtained a postgraduate Diploma/Degree of two year duration or more from any university or institution recognized by UGC with at least 60% marks throughout his/her academic career, is eligible to apply for admission to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programme provided that such candidate has completed at least a total of five years’ of graduate and postgraduate study in a recognized university or institution.
