Scholarships have been established by VESIT to assist deserving but financially disadvantaged students. The requirements for applying for and choosing candidates to receive the scholarships were as follows:
1) All FE, SE, TE, BE, and MCA students with a CGPA of 7.00 or higher and a family income under one lakh per year are eligible to apply for scholarships for 2020–2021. Only Student Aid scholarships are available to FE students.
2) This scholarship is not available to students who are receiving Full Tuition Fee Waiver (TFWS, SC, ST, NT, or SBC).
3) Students must complete the online application for the VES Scholarship.
4) The income certificate (for the fiscal year) should be attached to scanned copies of the grade reports for the tenth and twelfth grades as well as the semesters completed.
The following scholarships are available from VESIT to deserving and worthy students:
1) Student Aid Scholarship: To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must have a minimum grade point average of 7.00 and a family income of less than one lakh per year. Every year, 25–30 students from various departments receive scholarships worth Rupees 15,000 apiece.
2) Vivekanand Jyoti Scholarship: The scholarship is granted to one deserving student from each department. Each year, a sum of twenty-five thousand rupees is distributed. The requirements are a family income of less than one lakh per year and a grade point average of at least seven.
3) Sahayog Scholarship: The Sahayog Scholarship is a scholarship given by students to other students. Any money that students raise is utilized to support one or more students.
