CBSE Class 12 Economics Board Exam: How to prepare

Due to paper leak, the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) has decided to re-conduct the class 12 economics exam. The exam is scheduled to be held on April 25.

Students who are appearing for the CBSE Class 12 Economics Exam can check out the last minute tips and important topics below:

How to prepare:

  • Plan as per the timetable and follow it
  • Practice diagrams
  • You should have a good hold upon numericals
  • Try to practice sample papers by the CBSE
  • 5 papers should be practiced before the examination

Important topics:

Microeconomics:

 Unit 2 and Unit 3 i.e., theory of demand and theory of supply

Try to establish the analogy of these topics when you facilitate understanding at last level

How to attempt the question paper:

Utilise the first 15 minutes very carefully

Go through the entire paper well

Whenever there is a choice among two questions, decide in those 15 minutes

Try to finish micro section A in one hour approximately or maximum one hour 15 minutes and then complete Section B in the next one hour 15 minutes. And in the last one hour, revise it.

Last minute tips to prepare well:

Plan as per the timetable and follow it

Go through the textbook very carefully

Revise all the chapters twice before you go for the final exam

Practice the diagrams well

Try to practice sample papers by the CBSE

Practice all the numericals

Practice all the model test papers

Don't get nervous

Be confident

Prepare well whatever you have done

If you're not been able to cope up with the entire syllabus, try to plan in your strategy in such a manner that you focus on those chapters which have maximum weightage
