CTET July 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 answer key along with the candidates’ response sheets. The answer keys can now be checked and downloaded from the official website — ctet.nic.in.
Candidates can raise objections on the CTET 2024 answer key by July 26. A non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 per question is required to be submitted through a credit/debit card.
Step 1: Go to the official website — ctet.nic.in
Step 3: Enter your credentials such as roll number and date of birth
Step 4: The provisional answer key will be displayed on the screen
Step 5: Download the answer key and raise challenges if required
Step 6: Pay the fees
Step 7: Download the payment receipt for future reference
A person who scores 60 percent or more in the test will be considered as pass. School managements (Government, local bodies, government aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., per their extant reservation policy. Candidates should be given weightage to the scores in the recruitment process however, qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.
If the challenge is accepted by the Board i.e. if any mistake is noticed by the subject experts in the answer key, a policy decision will be notified and the fee shall be refunded. The refund (if any) will be transferred online to the concerned credit/debit card account, so the candidates are advised to pay from their credit/debit card. The decision of the Board on the challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained.
This year, the CTET exam was conducted on July 7 for paper 1 and paper 2. Question paper 1 will ensure the eligibility of teachers for Classes 1 to 5, while paper 2 will ensure the eligibility of teachers for Classes 6 to 8. Candidates fulfilling the prescribed qualification can appear in one or both papers and choose any two languages out of the 20 prescribed languages.
