New Delhi: The online registration window without a late fee for major national-level design entrance examinations for the academic session 2027—including the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED 2027) and the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED 2027)—is set to close on October 31.

Aspiring designers targeting Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and Master of Design (M.Des) programs across premier institutes like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) must complete their application process on the respective official web portals before the cutoff.

Candidates missing the regular October 31 deadline can still submit their applications with a standard late fee penalty of INR 500 until the extended deadline on November 6.

Click on the "Registration Portal" link on the homepage. Create a new user account by entering a valid email address, mobile number, and personal details. Log in using the credentials sent to your registered email.

Step 3: Fill Out the Application Form

Carefully enter all required details, including:

• Personal Information (Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Category)

• Contact Details & Permanent Address

• Educational Qualifications & Qualifying Exam Status

• Choice of Exam Examination Cities (up to 3 preferences)

Step 4: Upload Required Documents

Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, educational certificates, and category documents according to the specified size and format guidelines.

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee

What Happens Next?

Both UCEED 2027 and CEED 2027 are scheduled to take place on January 17, 2027. Admit cards for registered candidates will be made available for download from the official portals in early January 2027.
