NEET 2017 to be held in English and Gujarati: The Gujarat government said the Center had given its endorsement for leading the 2017 NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) for medicinal affirmations in Gujarati in the state, alongside English.

According to reports, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said, "Because of various representations of guardians, the state government had encouraged the Union Health Ministry to direct NEET in Gujarati."
"Union Health Minister J P Nadda, in a letter to Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, has educated that Health Ministry will direct NEET 2017 in Gujarati dialect in our state," Nitin Patel included.
Then, the Supreme Court has made NEET obligatory for medicinal affirmations.
Vital note: No other examination either at state level or institutional level selection test directed by medicinal universities/foundations might be substantial according to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 with impact from 2017 affirmation session.
