New Delhi: Aspirants who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2026 are keenly awaiting the release of the provisional answer keys and individual response sheets. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is expected to activate the download link anytime soon on its official portals.
With the result officially slated to be declared by September 30, 2026, candidates are running out of time to compute their probable scores and gauge their standings for the upcoming medical counselling sessions.
Official Marking Scheme for NEET PG 2026
To compute tentative scores once the response sheet goes live, candidates must adhere strictly to the NBEMS marking criteria. The exam consists of 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), bringing the maximum possible score to 720 marks.
Once the link is officially enabled, candidates can follow these step-by-step instructions to download their individual response sheets:
Visit Official Portals: Navigate to the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in.
natboard.edu.in
nbe.edu.in
Access the Portal: Click on the designated "NEET PG 2026" section on the homepage.
Candidate Login: Select the link for the Answer Key / Response Sheet and enter your unique login credentials (Application ID and Password).
View & Verify: Cross-verify your recorded answers against the official question IDs and correct choices provided.
Save PDF: Download and print a copy of your response sheet for future references and grievance redressal (if an objection window is provided).
Following the evaluation of objections (if a provisional objection window is hosted), NBEMS will process the final outcomes. The NEET PG 2026 results will be announced by September 30, 2026, alongside the publication of the All India Rank (AIR) merit list.
Candidates are strongly advised to monitor only the official websites (natboard.edu.in / nbe.edu.in) for authentic notifications and refrain from relying on unverified social media circulation regarding cutoffs or scorecards.
