As per last year’s question paper, candidates were rewarded 2.5 marks for each correct answer one mark was deducted for an incorrect answer and no marks were deducted for unattempted questions.

Candidates are required to obtain more than section-wise minimum admissible score (SMAS) in at least three sections to be declared qualified along with minimum admissible percentile (MAP) to obtain their rank.

The final result is declared after taking into consideration objections raised by the candidates after the release of the provisional answer key, for which candidates were provided time from July 5 and July 7.
