NIFT 2018 Registration begins at nift.ac.in

The registration process for the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) entrance examination 2018 has started on the website, nift.ac.in. Interested candidates can apply for the same latest by December 29.

How to apply for NIFT 2018:

In order to apply for the same all the candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps:

  1. Go to the official website, nift.ac.in
  2. Under Admissions 2018 tab, click on 'Apply online'
  3. Log in using your email id and date of birth in the space provided
  4. Fill in all the required details in the prescribed format
  5. Click to submit

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

Bachelor of Design: Candidates interested in applying need to be intermediate (class 12) pass from a recognised state board or university.

Bachelor of Fashion Technology (Apparel Production) (BFTech): Interested candidates need to be intermediate (class 12) pass from a recognised state board or university with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Application fee:

  • General/OBC (Non-Creamy) category: Rs 1,500
  • SC/ ST/ PWD category: Rs 750

Reservation of seats:

The seats reserved for SC/ST/Person with Disability (PWD)/Foreign Nationals/SAARC/NR/State Domicile, in each programme are as under:

  • SC: 15 per cent
  • ST: 5 per cent
  • OBC (non-creamy): 27 per cent
  • Person With Disability (PWD): 5 per cent
