UPSEE Registrations 2018 begin : 5 simple steps to apply online

The registration process for the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) has started on the official website, the link for which is upsee.nic.in As per the new schedule, the UPSEE 2018 will be conducted on April 29 (undergraduate courses) and May 5 and May 6 (postgraduate courses).

HOW TO APPLY:

IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR THE SAME, ALL THE CANDIDATES NEED TO FOLLOW THE BELOW MENTIONED STEPS:

  • Go to the official website, upsee.nic.in
  • Click on the relevant link
  • Enter all the required details in the prescribed format
  • Click to submit

APPLICATION FEE:

Male/transgender candidates of general and OBC category: Rs 1300

Females/ physically handicapped candidates of all categories / SC/ST candidates: Rs 650

The UPSEE is held for admission into engineering institutions and other institutes in Uttar Pradesh under the university.

ADMISSION WILL BE PROVIDED TO THE FOLLOWING COURSES:

  • BTech/BArch/BPharm
  • BHMCT / BFAD / BFA / MBA/MCA
  • Second year of BTech / BPharm / MCA (lateral entry)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Interested candidates must have passed intermediate examination of UP board or Class 12 level examination or its equivalent from any recognised board/university.

They must have secured a minimum of 45 per cent marks (40 per cent marks for SC/ST category candidates) without grace in each compulsory subject and one optional subject taken together.

NEW CHANGES INTRODUCED:

It would be mandatory for the candidates to provide their Aadhaar card number during registration. Apart from that candidates will also require their class 10 and 12 mark sheets, passport-sized photographs and signatures to register for the exam.

APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (initially Kerala Technological University), a state government university, has come into existence on May 21, 2014 with an aim to give leadership to the technology related policy formulation and engineering planning for the state.

There are around 841 institutes affiliated to Dr Abdul Kalam Technical University and to secure admission in these institutes for various undergraduate and post graduate programmes, candidates must go through UPSEE examinations.
