WBJEE 2024: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEE) has issued the counselling notification for WBJEE-2024. Eligible candidates who have secured a rank in JEE Main or WBJEE can apply for e-counselling at the official website – wbjeeb.nic.in.
The WBJEE counselling process includes various stages such as registration, choice filling for college and course, choice locking, seat allotment, document verification, and many more. Furthermore, candidates will be allotted a seat, as per the seat matrix and participating college list available on the official website – wbjeeb.in
The result for WBJEE 2024 was declared on June 6 at 3 pm, and a total of 1,12,963 students were able to qualify for the exam.
As per the notification, candidates will be only allowed to register for counselling during the initial registration stage before round 1 and later, if they missed it on the mop-up round.
For registration, the candidate will be required to make a non-refundable fee payment of Rs 500 and fill in the necessary personal, and academic information with bank details.
After seat locking, the first round allocation result will be announced as per the issued schedule. The student is requested to make a seat acceptance fee of Rs 5000 to lock their choice or to be even considered for upgradation.
The non-payment of the seat acceptance fee will lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat of the candidate and they will not be even considered for further upgrade options.
