Recommends this college
I am currently a pre-final-year student at NIT Raipur, and my overall experience so far has been mixed but valuable. The college provides a good academic environment and, being an NIT, there are opportunities for internships, placements, technical activities and extracurriculars. The faculty members are generally knowledgeable, although the teaching experience differs from professor to professor. For some subjects, self-study and additional resources are important. The academic workload can also be challenging at times, so students need to manage their time properly. Campus life is decent, with different clubs, events and activities. Since the college is located in Raipur city, access to transportation, markets and other facilities outside the campus is convenient. Hostel and mess facilities are average, and there is definitely scope for improvement in infrastructure and administration. Some administrative processes can also take time. Placements are an important attraction, but students should not depend entirely on the college. Building technical skills, preparing for placements from an early stage and gaining internship experience are equally important. Overall, NIT Raipur has given me opportunities to learn and grow. Like any college, it has both strengths and areas that need improvement. My experience has largely depended on how actively I have used the opportunities available to me.

Faculty 3.5
Industry Exposure 3.5
Placements 4
Affordability 3.5
Campus Facilities: College campus facilities are good to some extent but not overall many things like ATM,cafe and playground, sport's complex are inside which is very good. I chose this course because of its combination of theoretical knowledge, practical subjects and lab work. It prepares students well for academics. Exams include internal assessments, mid-semester and end-semester examinations.
Campus Life: The best event of college is cultural fest called eclectika which is managed by club sanskriti,it is best event because the amount of fun and joy everyone feel makes it best.
Faculty: Faculty members are generally knowledgeable and approachable, although teaching styles vary between professors. The course has a good mix of theory, practicals and labs. Exams include internal assessments, mid-semester and end-semester exams. Difficulty varies by subject, and regular study is important. The marking is based on internal and semester-end performance. Overall, the curriculum provides a good technical foundation, though some subjects could be more practical and industry-oriented.
Placements: Placement opportunities are available, but students need to take responsibility for their own preparation and skill development. More consistent career guidance and support would be helpful.
Salary Package: 8 - 10 Lakhs
