This college is situated in the dooars region of North Bengal in Jalpaiguri town, one hour bus ride from Siliguri. Situated besides Goodrice tea garden, this is one of the best government engineering college in West Bengal. This institute has six streams of engineering namely mechanical, electrical, civil, computer science, information technology and electronics and communication. Best faculty, better junior senior relation and decent campusing.

Campus Facilities: Situated in the outskirts of Jalpaiguri town, connectivity is better as the college is situated besides NH. Hostel facility is good, food could be better, classrooms are niceBank and ATM facility is there in the campus itself.

Campus Life: The annual college fest is the second biggest in North Eastern region. Campus Life is excellent as the relationship between juniors and seniors are on the par. Many club activities connect students irrespective of their years.

Faculty: Faculty is okay and are old fashioned teaching staffs with less or no advanced teaching techniques experience. Campus seldom provides industry exposure and left it on the students to find it on their own.

Placements: Annually 150 students get placement from this institute mostly in IT companies with a decent package. 35% students get placement from the campus in companies like Ericsson, TCS, Infosys and Simplex Infrastructure. At most these software companies offer a package of 4-5 lakhs per annum.
