Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmadabad (MICA) conducts the MICA Admissions Test for admission to the PGDBM-C programme equivalent to an MBA with specializations in Marketing Research, Digital Communication Management, Brand Management, Media Management, and Advertising. Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmadabad (MICA) is an AICTE-approved specialized institute offering strategic management and communication courses. MICAT is conducted twice a year. MICAT will be conducted in December 2024.

MICAT 2025 Application Form

The registration process for MICAT 2025 will be as follows. The process of MICAT 2025 will be commenced in online mode only. All the applicants will not be able to send their application in any other mode. The process for MICAT began in November. According to the official information. All the aspirants are advised to fill out the application form before the last date. The MICAT 2025 application form comprised four steps.

MICAT 2025 Application Fee

The application for every candidate will be the same and that will be rupees 1985/-. All the aspirants will be able to submit the fee through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ DD (Demand Draft)/ Cash Payment at the Counter or Office of MICA.

MICAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate applying for MICAT 2025 must meet educational MICAT Eligibility Criteria requirements laid down by the exam conducting authority. The educational MICAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria are mentioned below:

  • Candidate must have completed his or her bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • He or she must have completed a minimum of 15 years of education in the format of 10+2+3.
  • The graduation degree in any stream will be considered valid
  • Candidates who are in the final year of their bachelor’s degree can also apply for MICAT 2025
  • Candidate should have a valid score in any one of the following entrance exams namely CAT 2025, XAT 2025 and GMAT (2014 onwards).
  • Foreign Nationals and NRI category candidates are eligible only if they have a valid foreign passport along with valid GMAT/XAT/CAT scores. They can apply under the foreign nationals category.

MICAT 2025 Exam Pattern

The MICAT 2025 will be commenced in online mode as a CBT (Computer Based Test). MICAT 2025 Syllabus

MICAT syllabus comprises topics from Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, General Awareness, Divergent-Convergent Reasoning and descriptive test. Verbal Ability questions are based on word combination, sentence correction, idioms, analogies, synonyms, antonyms etc. In Quantitative Ability, section questions are asked from arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics etc. General Awareness questions are based on advertising, marketing, politics, geography, current affairs, sports etc.

MICAT 2025 Admit Card

MICA will issue admit card of MICAT II 2025 exam on 30th January 2025. MICAT admit card will be issued to only those candidates who will successfully register for the exam. To download admit card candidates have to enter their registration and application number.  MICAT admit card have candidates name, roll number, examination venue, photo and signature and exam day instructions.

MICAT 2025 Result

The result of MICAT I has been declared by MICA. The MICAT II result will be announced on February 14. Candidates need to check their result online by entering user id and password. In case, candidates appears both for MICAT I and MICAT II, the better of the two scores will be considered. On the basis of the MICAT 2025 result, the candidates are shortlisted for the next rounds of selection comprised of Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interviews (PI). The final MICAT result will be announced after the completion of GE/ PI.

MICAT 2025 Counselling

The selection procedure of MICAT 2025 can be divided into three parts -

  • First, the candidates must appear for CAT/ XAT/ GMAT exam. Only the candidates who have appeared for one of these exams are eligible for MICAT.
  • The second stage comprises the MICAT 2025 exam. To appear for this exam, the candidates must fill and submit the application form within the specified dates.
  • In the third stage, Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) will be conducted. For GE and PI, the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of MICAT 2025 scores.
  • After the completion of the above-mentioned steps, the final result will be declared and the successful candidates will be allotted seats in the Post Graduate Diploma in Management Communications (PGDM-C) offered by MICA. Approximately 1/10th of the total number of candidates who appears in the two MICATs will be shortlisted for GE & PI based on the total scaled scores.

MICAT cutoff 2025

MICAT cutoff is the minimum qualifying mark that one should score to be eligible for the next stage of the selection process. The examination authority does not release the cutoff. Candidates who will qualify the psychometric test shall be assessed for the various MICAT sections. The Descriptive Tests will be evaluated if the candidates secure minimum cutoff in these sections. Candidates securing the cutoff in Descriptive Test (DT) will be considered for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Candidates can check below MICAT 2025 expected cutoff.
