Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) is a common admission process for engineering conducted by the Board of Technical Education Rajasthan. The procedure is directed for admissions to undergrad engineering programs prompting Bachelor's degrees in various departments in Engineering (BTech/BE). The admission procedure is directed in the interest of Govt. supported and Private unaided specialized foundations of Rajasthan (with the exception of BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur, and other Deemed and Private Universities).
Prior admissions to engineering programs offered by engineering schools in the state of Rajasthan were on the premise of scores accomplished in the composed exam known as the Rajasthan Pre-Engineering test (RPET). RPET has been abandoned and admissions to colleges in Rajasthan are on the premise of REAP which takes after an online application form process for admissions to different undergrad engineering programs offered by the engineering colleges in the state.
The application form for REAP 2024 has to be filled in online mode only. The application process will commence tentatively in the third week of August 2024 and includes steps like payment of the application fee, filling out the application form, and uploading necessary documents. The steps to fill the application form of REAP 2024 is given below.
Payment of Application / Registration Fee and Advance Fee
In addition to paying the application fee, candidates have to pay an advance tuition fee of Rs. 10,000 before choice/option filling. The payment must be paid online. Any transactional charges incurred for making the payment must be borne by the candidate.
The application form of REAP 2024 will become active only after payment of the application fee, while choices/options can be entered only upon paying the Advance fee.
Filling the application form of REAP 2024
When filling the application form, the candidate needs to read the instructions carefully and fill all required fields. The candidate must also upload all required documents in this step.
Taking printouts of the completed REAP 2024 application form
After successfully submitting the REAP application form 2024, the candidate must take a printout of the form for future reference. The candidate mustn't send the hard copy to the admission office, as it is not required.

Academic Qualification
For B.Tech / B.E Courses
Passed 10+2 of Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER) or any equivalent exam with minimum 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC - NCL/ SBC -NCL candidates from the state of Rajasthan) in aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and any of Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology as optional subject. The candidate must also get pass marks in each of these subjects individually.
For B.Arch Courses
Candidates need to meet any of the three conditions:
Age Limit
The candidate needs to be born on or after October 1, 1993. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD are eligible for age relaxation up to 5 years.
Medical Fitness
Additionally, candidates need to meet a host of medical fitness standards, including that of height, weight, and hearing. The candidate has to Medical Fitness Chartificate in this regard.
The syllabus for REAP is the same as most engineering entrance exams which include Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
Mathematics: Algebra, Trigonometry, Vector Algebra, Probability, Coordinate Geometry, Calculus
Physics: Introduction and Measurement, Description of motion in one dimension, Description of motion in two and three dimension, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy, and Power, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body Rotation, Gravitation, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Heat and Thermodynamics, Oscillation, Waves, Electro statistics, Magnetic effect of current and magnetism.
Chemistry: Basic Concepts and Atomic Structure, Bonding and Molecular Structure, States of matter, Periodic Properties of Elements and Hydrogen, S-Block Elements and Principle of Metallurgy, P-Block Elements, D-Block and F-Block Elements, Thermodynamics Chemical Equilibrium, Solutions, Redox Reactions and Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Surface Chemistry, Coordination Compounds and Organometallics, Basic Principles, Purification, and Characterization of Organic Compounds, Hydrocarbons, Organic Reaction Mechanism, Stereochemistry, Polymers and Biomolecules, Environmental Chemistry and Chemistry in everyday life
Candidates can download the RPET 2024 Admit cards from the official website after April 2024. They should visit the official website of REAP and search REAP Exam 2024, Admit Card. After entering their details, the candidates have to click the link of submit button. Your admit card will be shown up on-screen. He/ she can take multiple prints out of the admit card for safety.
Candidates who are listed in the merit list of REAP 2024 will have to participate in the counseling round. Counselling of REAP 2024 will he held separately for Rajasthan candidates and outside Rajasthan candidates. Also, only Rajasthan candidates will be considered for upgradation/upward movement. The upgradation is done on the basis of options entered by the candidate and seats available at that particular point.
To participate in the counseling of REAP 2024, candidates need to get registered and pay the applicable advance fee.
Candidates can check the seat allotment of REAP 2024 by logging in to the seat allotment portal using their REAP log-in credentials. Candidates who are allotted seats will have to download the REAP 2024 seat allotment letter and report at the allotted institute within the prescribed time. At the time of reporting at the allotted institute, the candidate will have to bring along the allotment letter and originals of all relevant documents.
