UPCPMT 2024 Application FormHere in the below, we have added some important notice about the application form. Candidates are advised to please check this information about the application form,
Qualifying Exam: Candidates who qualify in 10+2 or any equivalent exam from a recognized board are eligible.
Subjects: Candidates must pass their qualifying exam in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-Technology Mathematics or any other elective subject in English.
Minimum Marks: Candidate must obtain at least 50% (for General/OBC) and 40% in aggregate for SC/ST candidates.
Age Criteria: The candidate’s age should be 17 years as of 31st December of the year of admission.
Appearing Candidates: Appearing candidates can also apply.
Type of Questions: Objective Type Questions will be asked in the exam
Duration of Exam: The question paper will be of 3 hours.
Number of Questions: There will be total of 200 questions in the exam. 50 questions from each section.
Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking.
Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.

The syllabus UP CPMT exam consists of questions from the +2 level syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Physics paper comprises in electricity, electromagnetism, electron physics, atomic physics, radiation, nuclear physics, general properties of matter heat and light, measurements and mechanics, kinematics and wave motion and sounds.
The paper of Chemistry comprises in alcohols, alkyl halides, ethers, Ketones, Aldehydes, isomerism, the study of alkali and alkaline metals, aromatic compounds, the law of gases, study of chemical equilibrium, thermochemistry, catalysts, preparation of colloidal solutions and transition elements.
The paper on Botany comprises in the ecosystem, Cell, the systemic study of algae, fungi, and bacteria, plant kingdom, the study of photosynthesis, growth & movements, respiratory systems, transpiration, heredity, translocations, sporogenesis, fruits, cell differentiation, and human evolution.
The paper of Zoology comprises in the study of protozoa, Porifera, arthropods, animal tissue, the origin of life, organic evolution, animal physiology, mutation, and genetics.
Candidates can download the UPCPMT 2024 admit card from the website in May 2024. Admit cards will contain exam-related details like exam date, center, and venue. No candidate will be allowed in the examination hall without admit card.
UPCPMT 2024 result will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in entrance exam. Based on result, merit list will be prepared of the eligible candidates. Candidates can check their results/merit list on the website in the first week of June 2024.
UPCPMT 2024 counselling related information will be published along with the declaration of results. At the time of counselling, candidates have to exercise the choices for courses and institution in which they want to get admission. The admission will be offered category-wise on the basis of marks scored in entrance exam.
