VGEC is good government engineering college in Gujarat it stands on 2nd rank in gov. engineering college.

Campus Facilities: The campus of VGEC is located near ONGC circle ,Chandkheda. though the campus is located near main road it is silent and calm. VGEC provides HOSTEL, STUDENT SECTION, MESS, SPORTS GROUND, CENTRAL FACILITIES , MEDICAL FACILITIES ETC.

Campus Life: The campus life is unforgettable if you attend all college events, In VGEC there are many types of events that are conducted like sports event, annual VISHWASANSKRUTI which is cultural event , and also many HACKATHONS by different departments.

Faculty: faculties of VGEC is well experienced and everyone have different type of teaching method, personally my favourite is mathematics Faculty. sometimes you find faculty with there teaching style which is not understood by you. but it is 5 to 10 %.

Placements: In year 2023, there are total 512 students got placed out of 630 in companies like Nirma, Infosys, TCS, Torrent power, Torrent farma, Reliance and many others. There are 100 % placement of Computer and IT department students with highest package of 12LPA and medium package of 6LPA.

Start Up Incubator: Vishwakarma have E-cell (SSIP cell) , E-cell is a startup Co-working center and Entrepreneurship development center as part of VGEC.Students are encouraged to participate in various workshops and seminars organized under E-cell at premier institutes like Entrepreneurship Development of india (EDI).
