The "Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka," or COMEDK, is an independent organization made up of esteemed academics and respected administrators with ties to the state's educational system. KPCF (Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation – Medical & Dental) and KUPECA (Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association) gave this independent COMEDK the task of setting up testing procedures to evaluate prospective students in an efficient, equitable, transparent, and non-exploitative manner. As a result, 16 medical, 24 dental, and roughly 150 engineering colleges have been served by COMEDK. Since its founding in 2004–05, COMEDK has been holding the yearly entrance exams for postgraduate and undergraduate programs at the participating universities.
In order to fill around 20,000 seats in engineering programs across 400 centers nationwide for the current academic year 2024–2025—COMEDK will hold an online exam on Sunday, May 12, 2024. The exam will be followed by online counseling. Beginning on February 1, 2024, COMEDK UGET 2024 application forms will be available. Until April 5, 2024, candidates may submit their application forms. The correction will be started from 12th April 2024.

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka has mandated the COMEDK UGET 2024 eligibility criteria. For B.E./B.Tech and B.Arch programs, students must possess a second PUC, 10+2 Higher Secondary, or an equivalent examination certificate. For admission to B.E./B.Tech programs, the minimum qualifying score is 40% for SC/ST/OBC categories and 45% for General candidates.
The minimum COMEDK UGET 2024 qualifying score for B.Arch programs is 50% for general students and 45% for SC/ST/OBC students. However, no minimum age has been established for COMEDK UGET 2024 eligibility.
The application for COMEDK UGET 2024 will be available on February 1st, 2024. The exam date has been made available. The date of the event is May 12, 2024. On May 6, 2024, the COMEDK UGET 2024 admit card will be made available. It will only be accessible online. Only applicants who will be appearing will receive their admit cards from the authorities.
