Gujarat Technological University is a state university established through Gujarat Act No. 20 of 2007 and came into existence on 16th May 2007. Headquartered in the city of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, GTU divided its administration activities into five zones, Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Vallabh Vidyanagar and Gandhinagar. Gujarat Technological University offers diploma, graduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in the fields of Engineering, Architecture, Management, Pharmacy and Computer Science. This university has 486 colleges affiliated to it. GTU has the largest International Experience Program in collaboration with the universities of US, Canada, China and Germany.
