AIPVT 2026 Counselling

AIPVT COUNSELING 2026

The AIPVT 2026 Counseling process is conducted for candidates who have qualified in the All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT), held through NEET-UG 2026. The counseling is organized by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) or respective state authorities to allocate seats for B.V.Sc & A.H. courses under the 15% All India Quota and State/University quotas.

Qualified candidates must register online, fill in their choices of colleges, and participate in seat allotment rounds based on All India Rank (AIR), category, and availability of seats. The counseling ensures a transparent, merit-based admission process while guiding students through document verification, seat selection, and admission confirmation.

AIPVT 2026 Counseling – Step-by-Step Process

Step 1: Check Eligibility for Counseling

  • Only candidates who have qualified NEET-UG 2026 (AIPVT 2026) are eligible.
  • Ensure your All India Rank (AIR) meets the required cut-off.
  • Keep your scorecard, application form, and relevant documents ready.

Step 2: Registration for Counseling

  1. Visit the official counseling website, usually: vcicounseling.nic.in or the respective state authority portal.
  2. Click on “AIPVT 2026 Counseling Registration”.
  3. Enter the required details:
    • NEET roll number
    • Date of birth
    • All India Rank (AIR)
    • Contact information
  4. Create a login ID and password.
  5. Pay the counseling registration fee online (if applicable).

Step 3: Choice Filling / College Preferences

  • After registration, log in to fill your preferred colleges and courses.
  • You can choose multiple colleges in order of preference.
  • Carefully check seat availability and reservation rules before finalizing.
  • Submit and lock your choices before the deadline.

Step 4: Seat Allotment

  • The allotment is based on
    1. All India Rank (AIR)
    2. Category / Reservation
    3. Choices filled by candidate
  • Candidates can check the seat allotment result online.

Step 5: Document Verification

  • Candidates allotted a seat must report to the allotted college or designated center for verification.
  • Carry original documents and 2–3 sets of photocopies, including:
    1. NEET UG 2026 scorecard
    2. Admit card
    3. Class 10 & 12 certificates
    4. Identity proof (Aadhar/PAN/Passport)
    5. Category certificate (if applicable)
    6. Passport size photographs

Step 6: Seat Confirmation & Reporting

  • After verification, candidates must pay the admission fee to confirm the seat.
  • Report to the allotted college on the specified date.
  • Without reporting or paying the fee, the seat may be canceled and offered to the next candidate in rank.

Step 7: Subsequent Rounds / Mop-Up Round

  • If seats remain vacant after the first round, second and third rounds (or mop-up round) may be conducted.
  • Candidates who did not get a seat in the first round can participate in the next round by updating their choices.
  • Follow the same procedure for verification and fee payment for subsequent rounds.

Step 8: Final Admission

  • After all rounds, colleges will release a final admission list.
  • Ensure you complete all joining formalities, attend orientation, and start your academic session.
