The All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT) has now been merged with the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduates (NEET-UG), which serves as the single entrance exam for admission to veterinary as well as medical, dental, AYUSH, and other allied health science courses in India. To ensure fairness and uniformity, the National Testing Agency (NTA) prescribes a well-defined set of eligibility criteria that every aspirant must meet before applying. These conditions mainly cover aspects like age, nationality, academic qualifications, subject requirements, and minimum qualifying marks. Understanding the eligibility rules for NEET-UG 2026 is crucial, as only candidates who satisfy these conditions will be allowed to appear for the exam and participate in the admission process.
