The Andhra Pradesh Physical Education Common Entrance Test (AP PECET) is a state-level entrance mechanism conducted annually by Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU) on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The exam serves as the gateway for admissions into professional 2-year Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) and 2-year Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed) courses across constituent and affiliated colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The AP PECET 2026 physical efficiency and game skill tests were successfully conducted from June 3 to June 8, 2026, on the ANU campus, and the official results along with rank cards were announced in mid-June 2026.
The centralized web counselling portal is expected to go live via the official state admission gateway (cets.apsche.ap.gov.in). Based on the academic cycles, the tentative schedule for Phase 1 and Phase 2 rounds is projected below.

1.Registration & Fee Payment: cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
Log onto the official APSCHE portal and locate the AP PECET tab. Click on "Counselling Registration" and input your Hall Ticket Number and Rank. Settle the non-refundable processing fee using standard online payment gateways.
2.Certificate Upload & Verification: Online PDF Upload.
Upload clean scanned copies of all academic and reservation certificates. The verification team processes these documents online. Note: Candidates claiming special quotas (NCC/CAP) must physically attend document verification at a designated Helpline Centre (HLC), usually at Acharya Nagarjuna University.
3.Web Options Entry: College Priority List.
Once your verification status is marked "Approved", log back in during the choice window. Browse the list of colleges and add your target institutions in order of preference. Review and save your choices; un-locked choices auto-freeze on the final day.
4.Seat Allotment Order: SMS Alert & Allotment PDF.
APSCHE prepares the merit-based seat allotment by matching candidate ranks against category reservations and college options. Download your provisional allotment letter from the portal once published.
5.Reporting & College Admission: Final Step to Secure Seat.
Complete the dual reporting condition: click “Self-Reporting” online on your dashboard, then report physically to the assigned physical education college with your original documents and the official allotment letter to seal your admission.
Candidates are required to upload digital copies during registration and present all original records at the time of college admission:
The entry fee must be paid entirely online using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking dashboard before proceeding to document selection:
Q1: What are the minimum age criteria for B.P.Ed and D.P.Ed admission during counselling?
A: To secure admission in 2026, candidates pursuing the B.P.Ed course must have completed 19 years of age as of July 1, 2026. For the D.P.Ed course, candidates must have completed a minimum of 16 years of age by the same cutoff date.
Q2: Can I participate in the web options phase if my certificate status is "Pending"?
A: No. You are only allowed to fill out college preferences if your documents are successfully cross-checked and approved by online verifying officers. Keep track of your dashboard; if any document is rejected or flagged with a query, re-upload a clear copy using the "Reupload of Documents" link immediately.
Q3: I am a resident of Telangana. Can I participate under the local status category?
A: Admissions follow strict local and non-local regulations defined by government orders. Unless you satisfy the criteria for structural migration or fall within the unreserved 15% open institutional quota windows, you will be treated under the non-local bracket.
Q4: What happens if I forget to lock my web options on the closing date?
A: If you save your choices but do not hit the freeze/lock command, the portal will automatically count your last saved sequence as final once the countdown timer lapses. You will not be permitted to alter your order after this auto-save locks.
Q5: Is it mandatory to do both online self-reporting and physical institute joining?
A: Yes. Completing just online self-reporting without visiting the campus within the deadlines—or vice versa—will result in your seat being canceled automatically. You must complete both actions to hold your spot.
