Stepwise AP PECET 2026 Counselling Process

  1. Counselling Notification and Registration
  • After AP PECET 2026 results are declared, the official counselling notification is released online on the official portal (https://pecet-sche.aptonline.in/PECET).
  • Eligible candidates must register for counselling by providing their hall ticket number and rank.

A non-refundable counselling processing fee must be paid online:

  • OC/BC: INR 1000
  • SC/ST/PH: INR 500
  1. Document Upload and Verification
  • Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of original certificates for online verification, including educational qualifications, caste, residence, and other relevant certifications.
  • For special categories like CAP (Children of Armed Personnel) and NCC, candidates must also upload specific certificates and sometimes attend verification centers.
  • Physical verification of documents is done at designated help centers or colleges on scheduled dates.
  1. Choice Filling and Locking
  • Post verification, candidates participate in web counselling by filling their preferred colleges and courses in order of priority.
  • It is recommended to select as many choices as possible to increase seat allotment chances.
  • Candidates can modify or edit their choices during the web options correction window before final submission.
  • Once satisfied, candidates must freeze their choices; after freezing, choices cannot be changed.
  1. Seat Allotment and Reporting
  • Based on the rank, category, and preferences, seat allotment lists are published online.
  • Candidates allotted seats must pay the tuition fee through the prescribed bank challans and report to the allotted college within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Failure to report or pay fees may lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat.
  1. Subsequent Counselling Rounds and Spot Counselling
  • Candidates who do not get seats in the first round may participate in the second counselling with fresh registration and document verification.
  • Some colleges may also conduct spot admissions for leftover seats after completion of regular counselling
