Q1. How many sections are there in the CUET 2026 exam, and what are they?
Ans. There are three sections: Section I (Languages), Section II (Domain Subjects), and Section III (General Aptitude Test). Each section consists of 50 compulsory MCQs to be completed in 60 minutes.
Q2. How many subjects can a candidate choose in CUET 2026?
Ans. A candidate can select up to five subjects, which must include at least one language subject. The remaining selections can be domain subjects and/or the General Aptitude Test, as per the university's admission criteria.
Q3. What is the marking scheme of CUET 2026?
Ans. For each correct answer, a candidate receives 5 marks. For every incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted. There is no penalty for unattempted questions.
