KCET 2019 Exam Pattern

KCET exam pattern 2019 will cover questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and will be held for total 180 marks. The exam duration for each paper of KCET 2019 is 80 minutes. KCET 2019 will be conducted on April 23 and 24 for B.Tech programmes and language test will be conducted on April 20. As per the KCET exam pattern, the test will be held in both English and Kannada language and candidates have to take the exam as per the opted language. There is no negative marking for incorrect or unattempted questions in KCET 2019.

KCET Exam Pattern 2019

Candidates are advised to have an understanding of the KCET 2019 exam pattern so as to enable them to plan a proper strategy in their preparation for KCET 2019. Following are the details of KCET exam pattern 2019

Mode of Examination: KCET 2019 is an offline examination, i.e., it will be held in pen and paper mode.

Type of Questions: The paper consists of objective type multiple choice questions. Each question contains four options out of which only one response is correct.

Total Number of Papers: KCET 2019 will cover units from the following subjects

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics

Distribution of marks: The maximum marks for each paper is 60.

Marking scheme: Each multiple choice question will carry 1 mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect or unattempted answers.

Duration: Time allowed to complete each paper is 1 hour 20 minutes. The exam schedule and time of KCET 2019 will be updated on this page as soon as KEA announces the same.
