The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a gateway for admission into MBA and PGDM programs at various business schools across India. The application process for MAT 2026 is conducted entirely online through the official AIMA portal (mat.aima.in).

Step-by-Step Application Guide

  • Registration: Candidates must visit the official website and click the “Register” button. You will need to provide basic details including your full name, date of birth, mobile number, email address, gender, and location. After submitting these, verify your account using the OTP sent to your mobile number and email.
  • Form Submission: Once registered, log in to fill in your academic, contact, and personal details. You must select your preferred mode of examination (Computer-Based Test or Paper-Based Test) and your desired test city. If applicable, you can also indicate your preferred management institutes for score reporting.
  • Documentation: You are required to upload a scanned recent passport-sized photograph, your signature, and a category certificate if applicable.
  • Fee Payment: The application fee must be paid online via UPI, net banking, debit/credit cards, or Paytm wallet. Offline payment methods are not accepted.
  • Finalization: After payment, review all details carefully before final submission. While most fields can be edited later, details such as your name, date of birth, email address, and mobile number are generally permanent.
