NEET  UG 2026 (APPLICATION FORM)

The NEET UG application form can be filled out online by candidates via the website. NEET 2026 Application Form will be available on the first week of February 2026 on the official NTA NEET website (neet.nta.nic.in). 2nd week of March 2026 will be the deadline for submitting the application. A different method besides online access will be used to supply the application form. When submitting an online application, NTA also offers the NEET 2026 correction opportunity. You have only one chance to edit the application within this period.

The entire process—filling out the form, uploading documents, and payment of fees—will be conducted only through online mode. Candidates must ensure they meet eligibility criteria before beginning registration. Required details include valid email ID and mobile number, as communication regarding the exam will be sent through these.

Step by step NEET UG 2026 application process

Registration

  • Visit the official NEET site and click on "New Registration".
  • Read and accept the instructions before clicking “Click here to proceed”.
  • Provide personal information: name, parent details, DOB, gender, nationality, category, state of eligibility, ID type & number, mobile number, email ID.
  • Create a password, choose a security question & answer.
  • After submission, you receive a system-generated Application Number

 Filling in Details

  • Log in using the Application Number and password.
  • Enter preferences: medium of exam, exam city, educational information, and contact/address details.

Upload Documents

You need scanned copies (PDF/JPG/JPEG) of:

  • Passport-size photograph (10–200?KB, white background, 80% face visible)
  • Signature (10–50?KB)
  • Left+Right thumb impressions and finger prints
  • Category certificate (for reserved categories, if applicable)
  • PwBD certificate (if applicable)
  • Citizenship-/OCI /PIO certificate (if applicable)

Application Fee Payment

  • General: Rs 1,700
  • OBC-NCL / EWS: Rs 1,600
  • SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender: Rs 1,000
  • Foreign Nationals: higher fee (typically Rs 9,500)

Payment is accepted via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI/Paytm. Fee once paid is non-refundable. 

Confirmation Page

  • After successful payment, the confirmation page is generated.
  • Download and save a printed copy for future reference. A copy is also emailed to your registered address.
