TG PECET 2026 SYLLABUS

The detailed syllabus for TG PECET 2026 comprises two main components: the Physical Efficiency Test and the Skill Test in Games, designed for admission to B.P.Ed. and D.P.Ed. courses in Telangana.

Physical Efficiency Test

  • This section is compulsory and varies slightly for men and women candidates.

  • For Men

    • 100 meters run (100 marks)
    • Putting the shot (6 Kgs) (100 marks)
    • 800 meters run (100 marks)
    • Long Jump or High Jump (100 marks; option for one)

  • For Women

    • 100 meters run (100 marks)
    • Putting the shot (4 Kgs) (100 marks)
    • 400 meters run (100 marks)
    • Long Jump or High Jump (100 marks; option for one)

Skill Test in Games

  • Candidates must demonstrate skills in any one of the following games for a maximum of 100 marks:
    • Basketball
    • Ball Badminton
    • Cricket
    • Football
    • Hockey
    • Handball
    • Kho-Kho
    • Shuttle Badminton
    • Tennis
    • Volleyball
